Pride Of Birmingham
SXS Events have been pleased to provide full production for one of Britain’s most exciting and inspiring events this year.
Pride of Britain is an evening spent celebrating people who have heroic and life-changing stories. Across the year there are regional awards, culminating in a national final held at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The production for this event needed to be fully inclusive and visually stunning for the audience. We created a stage which was accessible for wheelchair users, and used LED batons to line the LED panelled screen to create a glow on stage for the audience to enjoy. Perhaps the highlight of the event was the confetti canons that rained over the winners as a way to conclude the evening. Even the backstage video and autocue team got hit!
In a few weeks’ time we’ll be packing our SXS bags and heading up to Newcastle upon Tyne, where we’ll be managing full production for the Pride of North East Awards. That is if the third “beast from the East” doesn’t snow on our confetti-cannon parade!
