Water Video Screens
Our Special Projects team have developed a range of impressive water video screens.
These screens create a flat wall of water which can be used as a video projection surface. This concept creates projections that appear to be holographic and will wow even the most discerning guests. Our in-house graphics and animation team can compile content based on brand imagery, personal pictures, text and videos. When set to an appropriate soundtrack, the shows we produce can be astounding.
Why our water screens are so special
Using extremely powerful pumping and pipework equipment (usually only used by large fire brigades) the system can create enormous water walls for projecting video onto. "The screen is one of the most exciting projects I have managed in my time in this role" says Head of Special Projects Johnny Palmer. "With the help and input of all the SXS team and two consultanting engineers we have developed an impressive system that allows us to offer an exciting and unique projection option to clients."
In relation to water usage: "We need to be next to a large body of water, the system drinks 1600 litres a minute, so a lake is best!". At night, video projected on the screen has a holographic appearance."
