London Fashion Week

The SS16 season was our busiest year yet for London Fashion Week and we have now done 12 seasons of this internationally acclaimed event.

We provided technical production, stage and set for both on-schedule and off-schedule shows for a total of seventeen designers across four separate venues. All this was for existing clients and we are so pleased to see our clients are increasing their level of business.

This year we found that designers were very enthusiastic about integrating new technology into their shows; in particular using digital content to augment their collections. For the shows at The Vinyl Factory we provided a large LED video wall that wrapped two sides of the venue to give the audience an immersive digital experience via On|Off and dolls screen content producer Ian Robinson.

When working in a low ceiling venue we were unable to achieve optimum lighting angles with traditional fixtures. As such our fabrication team developed a dimming fluorescent system that provided a highly diffused light over the catwalk. This system is now available for events with similar venue challenges or needing an edgy industrial look.

Our show benches were also popular this season with over 100 benches used over the period.
