New Premises

We are in the final stages of the development of our new warehouse, studio and office complex.

The project started in the early part of 2014 when the freehold on the property and surrounding land was purchased. Since then the buildings have been completely gutted, interiors rebuilt, rewired, re-plumbed and redecorated. With the project at its final stage the complete and final move will take place very soon.

“The last few months have been one of the most exciting and inspiring periods of my career; we have been busy producing some incredible productions whilst also developing the new premises using a lot of in-house resources” says SXS founder, Johnny Palmer.

We are proud that many of the materials used in the construction process have been reclaimed from event use.

These new premises will enable us to offer services beyond anything which can be offered by any other UK production company. Clients can now experience viewing their entire production in the large studio space, make use of the photographic cove, undertake  post production work, as well as manufacturing in the workshop including the flight case factory.

We are now also offering storage services of which several clients have already taken advantage. Our rates are highly competitive and we offer the added benefit of stock control, PAT testing, palletisation and secondary logistics for client assets. Our new meeting space is fantastic for creative discussions and features 4k UHD video screens, air conditioning, reference grade audio, air conditioning, comfortable and practical seating and lighting, not to mention unlimited supplies of great coffee! Our yard space and car park at the back of the premises gives us space for testing, mock-ups and other activities which are better suited to working outdoors.

The final move will be made very shortly and our clients will be informed when we have a date as we will be holding a celebration party in the new studio.
